JUICES!!

WE have organic, fresh fruit and vegetables, with no concentrates or fillers, made by Chef Josie daily.

Stuff to consider:

We should eat two whole fruits and three to four different colors vegetables a day to get a good mix of vitamins and minerals plus the micronutrients that many people are lacking. The bulk of juice should come from organic, green veggies – kale, broccoli, spinach, celery, Swiss chard…when we drink fresh-made green juice, it is almost like receiving an intravenous infusion of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes because they go straight into our systems without having to be broken down.

Juicing helps absorb all the nutrients from the vegetables. This is important because a lot of us have impaired digestion, which limits our body’s ability to absorb all the nutrients from the vegetables. Juicing helps to “pre-digest” them, so we receive most of the nutrition.

Juicing allows us to consume a healthier amount of vegetables in an efficient manner. Virtually every health authority recommends that we get six to eight servings of vegetables and fruits per day and very few of us actually get that. Juicing is an easy way to help us reach our daily target for vegetables.

We get a wider variety of vegetables in our diet. Many people eat the same vegetable salads or side dishes every day. This violates the principle of regular food rotation and increases our chance of developing an allergy to certain foods.

Juicing increases the number of different phyto-chemicals in our diet, as each vegetable will offer unique benefits. With juicing, you can juice a wide variety of vegetables that you may not normally enjoy eating whole.

  • Boost your immune systemby supercharging it with concentrated phytochemicals.
  • Promote weight loss. The juices balance out carbohydrate intake, and also significantly increased intake of vitamin C and potassium. Bodies crave less and receive more.
  • Increase energy When we have an abundance of the nutrients we need, and our pH is optimally balanced, we feel energized. Since the nutrients in juice can be utilized by your body immediately, those who juice report feeling the “kick” of energy almost instantly.
  • Support your brain health.People who drank juices (fruit and vegetable) more than three times per week, compared to less than once a week, were 76 percent less likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease, according to the Kame Project.1
